“Nicol is a high energy trainer who corrects form, pushes you to get the most of your training and is a passionate professional. I currently do 1:1 personal training with Nicol focusing on strength to keep my bones strong in my 60s. I find Nicol is a trainer who is very passionate about her client’s well-being. On the first session, she assessed my fitness level and customizes each session so I get the most out of it. She brings variety to each workout, keeps each training fun and focused (time seems to fly by), and targets the muscle groups I need to strengthen. After each session, I feel sore overnight in different muscles. Nicol communicates well and listens to what I am looking to achieve. Thanks to her, I am stronger, have better posture, no longer have shoulder, back or knee pain, and can now do many of the exercises I was not able to do before. I used to be terrible with form and, out of all the personal trainers I have worked with, Nicol focuses on form first and foremost. “I found Nicol when I was coming out of a recent stint at rehab for back spasms, specifically lower back. Her classes were by far the best there and I started going several times a week; when the pandemic started I was in the best shape of my life. thankfully, Nicol continued virtual classes where I attended and I could keep my core strong and back pain at bay. When I got pregnant late in 2020, Nicol was my biggest cheerleader and my obvious choice for a prenatal trainer. As my back got more and more stress put on it from my growing belly, Nicol made adjustments to each session to ease the tension while still strengthening my core. In fact, I got stronger during pregnancy! I’m sure my back pain would have been much worse without her. I could come to a session describing my specific aches or soreness - whether it was my left hip (hips widening), my low back/ SI joints, or my upper back and posture, Nicol identified exactly what the culprit was and planned our sessions around strength and healing. I always felt better afterwards, and the relief was lasting. She’s incredibly intuitive and so passionate about body work. Postpartum, my recovery has been swift and pleasant thanks to her supportive sessions. I truly can’t imagine making this journey without Nicol!”
