Nicol is an integral part of my birth prep and support team, which any first time mom needs! We started working out together when I was 8 weeks pregnant, and from the beginning she knew the best exercises to ensure a manageable heart rate, safe movement, and effective prep for the changes my body would soon experience. As each week and milestone passed, I was thrilled to see myself actually getting stronger and noticing my arm, back, oblique and glute muscles really looking lean, all while my belly kept getting bigger! I am 40 weeks now and feel so much more prepared for childbirth and postpartum recovery, and I could not have gone on this journey without Nicol. I know I would not have pushed myself (or known how to safely do so at each stage) and I’m grateful for Nicol’s passion, knowledge, and support. Her workouts are not only challenging but energizing. Even if I am feeling crummy, by the end of the sessions I feel refreshed and rejuvenated, albeit worn out! I found Nicol when I was coming out of a recent stint at rehab for back spasms, specifically lower back. Her classes were by far the best there and I started going several times a week; when the pandemic started I was in the best shape of my life. thankfully, Nicol continued virtual classes where I attended and I could keep my core strong and back pain at bay. When I got pregnant late in 2020, Nicol was my biggest cheerleader and my obvious choice for a prenatal trainer. As my back got more and more stress put on it from my growing belly, Nicol made adjustments to each session to ease the tension while still strengthening my core. In fact, I got stronger during pregnancy! I’m sure my back pain would have been much worse without her. I could come to a session describing my specific aches or soreness - whether it was my left hip (hips widening), my low back/ SI joints, or my upper back and posture, Nicol identified exactly what the culprit was and planned our sessions around strength and healing. I always felt better afterwards, and the relief was lasting. She’s incredibly intuitive and so passionate about body work. Postpartum, my recovery has been swift and pleasant thanks to her supportive sessions. I truly can’t imagine making this journey without Nicol!”

Emily started private one-on-one perinatal coaching 3x weekly at 8 weeks pregnant. Her goal was to stay fit safely throughout her pregnancy, and she got so much strong(er). Yes, during her pregnancy! Not only did Emily refine her form, techniques, and gain more mobility and strength…she got leaner and toned throughout pregnancy. She loved how defined and strong her arms looked! Most importantly, she pushed for less than 20 minutes and her son was born! Emily credits all the squats, lunges, glute, core, diaphragmatic breath and kegel work we did during our sessions as it helped more than she could have imagined during labor and delivery!
